Color Challenge Week With Beautifully Celebrated!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends and this week, we are all using these 3 colors for a Color Challenge:

I really like how the Lost Lagoon color pops with the two pinkish shades:

I added lots of layers with stamped branches, diecut branches, ribbon and a cute sentiment over the designer papers. Although I used Petunia Pop Iridescent Ribbon, the color is so close to Berry Burst that it works.


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Beautifully Celebrated, Friendly Foliage
- Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Berry Burst, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Lovey & Beautiful, Subtles
- Inks: Lost Lagoon, Berry Burst
- Tools & Accessories: Beautifully Celebrated Dies, Petunia Pop Iridescent Ribbon, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Fresh Freesia Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Berry Burst Cardstock 5-1/4 x 3-3/8. Glue to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 3: Cut 2 pieces of designer paper-one from the Lovey & Beautiful DSP and the 2nd from Subtles DSP to measure 4-7/8 x 1-1/2. Cut each piece into 2 pieces at 3-1/4″. Glue one pattern at the top with the short piece on the left and the long piece on the right with even spacing on the Berry Burst layer. Glue the 2nd pattern below the first pattern.
- Branches: Stamp, diecut and fussy-cut the following and glue to card front-
- Stamp the flowered branch on Basic White Cardstock with Berry Burst Ink. Fussy-cut with Paper Snips. Gue with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp the large branch on Basic White Cardstock with Lost Lagoon Ink. Fussy-cut with Paper Snips. Layer over the first branch and glue with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Use the smaller branch die to cut 2 with Berry Burst Cardstock. Tuck and glue under the larger branches.
- Sentiment: Fresh Freesia Cardstock 1-3/4 x 1/2. Stamp the sentiment with Berry Burst Ink. Glue over the branches on the right.
- Ribbon: Tie a bow with the ribbon and glue to the bottom of the branches.
