Sketch Challenge Week With Turtle-y Awesome!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends and this week is all about this sketch challenge:

I had a blast using a new suite called Turtle-y Cute. The suite includes the following:
- Turtle-y Awesome Stamp Set & Dies Bundle
- Turtle-y Cute Designer Paper
- Turtle Textures Embossing Folder
- Shades Of Green Hexagons
- Shaded Spruce & Soft Sea Foam Ribbon

I used all of the products minus the ribbon, to create this fun card. The turtle images are colored with Stampin’ Blends and look at the pretty embossing:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Turtle-y Awesome
- Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lolly, Shaded Spruce
- Designer Paper: Turtle-y Cute
- Inks: Shaded Spruce
- Stampin’ Blends: Lemon Lolly, Granny Apple Green, Soft Sea Foam
- Tools & Accessories: Turtle-y Awesome Dies, Turtle Textures Embossing Folder, Shades Of Green Hexagons, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Turtle-y Cute Designer Paper 5-1/2 x 4-1/4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Turtle-y Cute Designer Paper 5 x 1-1/2. Glue 1/2″ from the left edge.
- Layer 4: Granny Apple Green Cardstock 3-1/2 x 2-1/2. Emboss with the Turtle Textures Embossing Folder. Glue 3/4″ from the right edge.
- Layer 5: Shaded Spruce Cardstock 2-3/4 x 1/2. Glue over the Granny Apple layer about 1/4″ from the bottom and 1/4″ from the right edge.
- Layer 6: Lemon Lolly Cardstock 2-3/4 x 1/2. Stamp the sentiment with Shaded Spruce Ink. Glue over the Shaded Spruce layer a little lower.
- Turtles: Stamp the 2 turtle images with Shaded Spruce Ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends. Cut with the dies. Glue above the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Shades Of Green Hexagons to card front.
