Sketch Challenge Week With

It’s Thursday Challenge time and a Sketch Challege at Create With Stamping Friends . This is the sketch our challenge team used this week:

And my card. I’m so happy that the Timeless Plaid Designer Paper will be available in the new Annual Catalog in May. I have used this designer paper quite a bit. I love the 2 patterns I chose on my card:

Notice the embossing on the Basic Gray Cardstock layer and the pretty bling I added to my card:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps:Thoughtful Wishes
- Cardstock: Basic Gray, Calypso Coral, Basic White, Thick Basic White
- Designer Paper: Timeless Plaid
- Inks: Basic Gray
- Tools & Accessories: Thoughtful Wishes Dies, Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Eyelet Embossing Folder, White Ribbon, Stylish Shapes Dies
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Timeless Plaid Designer Paper 5-1/2 x 4-1/4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Timeless Plaid Designer Paper 4-1/4 x 1-3/4. Glue to card front about 1″ from the top.
- Layer 4: Basic Gray Cardstock 3-1/4 x 2-3/4. Emboss with the Eyelet Embossing Folder. Glue to card front about 1/4″ below the 2nd designer paper layer.
- Layer 5: Calypso Coral Cardstock cut with the 2-1/2 circle die from Stylish Shapes Dies. Stamp the sentiment in the center with Basic Gray Ink. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals about 1/4″ above the 2nd designer paper layer.
- Diecut Branch: Use the die for the branch cut with Basic White Cardstock. Tuck under the circle on the bottom and glue in place.
- Stamped Branch: Stamp the branch image on Basic White Cardstock with Basic Gray Ink. Cut with the die. Glue over the circle and add Stampin’ Dimensionals outside of the circle.
- Ribbon: Tie a knot with the ribbon and trim ends at an angle. Glue to the stamped branch.
- Bling: Add Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the circle and embossed layer.
