Sketch Challenge Week With Beautiful Butterflies!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends and I love butterflies! Most of you know that about me too. This is our challenge sketch this week:

I love the color combo I chose for my Beautiful Butterflies Bundle card. I used Daffodil Delight, Petunia Pop and Basic White:

I have one large stamped butterfly and one tiny diecut butterfly all layered over the Fruit Salad Designer Paper. Did you know the designer paper is free to earn during Sale-A-Bration? Hurry though, February 28th is the last day!


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Beautiful Butterflies
- Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Petunia Pop, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Fruit Salad
- Inks: Daffodil Delight, Petunia Pop
- Tools & Accessories: Beautiful Butterflies Dies, Deckled Circles Dies, Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Petunia Pop Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Fruit Salad Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 4. Set aside.
- Layer 3: Petunia Pop Cardstock 3-1/4 x 3. Glue to card front even at the top and sides on the designer paper.
- Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock 3 x 2-3/4. Stamp the large butterfly image with Daffodil Delight Ink. Glue to card front.
- Layer 5: Daffodil Delight Cardstock 4-3/4 x 1-1/2. Glue at an angle and trim the ends. Glue layer to card base.
- Layer 6: Petunia Pop Cardstock cut with the 2-1/8″ circle from Deckled Circles Dies. Glue on the banner to the left.
- Layer 7: Basic White Cardstock cut with the 1-3/4″ circle from Deckled Circles Dies. Stamp the sentiment with Petunia Pop Ink. Glue to petunia circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Butterfly: Cut one butterfly with Daffodil Delight Cardstock and the die. Cut the body with Petunia Pop Cardstock. Assemble the butterfly and glue to the right of the circle layers with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the stamped butterfly.
