Sketch Challenge Week With Natural Botanicals!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends . I’m so glad you are visiting today. Our team challenge this week is a Color Challenge:

I love the 3 colors and they are actually perfect using the Toadstool Gardens Designer Paper that you can earn for free during Sale-A-Bration. I used one of the patterns on my card:

I colored the cone flowers with Stampin’ Blends and added the sentiment to a partial circle:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Natural Botanicals
- Cardstock: Shy Shamrock, Poppy Parade, Petunia Pop
- Designer Paper: Toadstool Gardens
- Inks: Memento Black
- Stampin’ Blends: Shy Shamrock, Poppy Parade, Petunia Pop
- Tools & Accessories: Paper Snips, 1-3/4 Circle Punch, Deckled Rectangles Dies, Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins, Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Misc: Post-It Notes
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Shy Shamrock Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Poppy Parade Cardsdtock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Toadstool Gardens Designer Paper 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to card front.
- Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock cut with the 4-1/4 x 3 Deckled Rectangles Dies. Use the cone flower image and follow these steps:

Mask Technique:
- Stamp 2 flower images at the bottom at different heights with Memento Black Ink.
- Stamp 1 flower image on a Post-It note keeping the sticky edge on the underside at the top. Cut the image with Paper Snips. This is called a mask.
- Place the Post-It note mask over the tallest flower.
- Stamp 1 flower image above the Post-It note flower with the stem over the mask and then remove the mask.
- Stamp 2 more flowers on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock. Hand-cut with short stems.
- Color all of the flowers with Stampin’ Blends.
- Glue the two single flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Now finish out the card layers:
- Stamp the sentiment with Memento Black Ink on Petunia Pop Cardstock. Cut with the circle punch with the wording to the far left. Glue the circle to the white rectangle layer at the top right with part of the circle outside of the rectangle. Place the die lined up over the rectangle and cut through the sentiment layer.
- Glue white layer to card front at an angle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the white background.
