Sketch Challenge Week With Colored Designer Paper!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends and we have three beautiful Stampin’ Up! colors to show you today on all of our team projects! These are the three colors:

I love it when Stampin’ Up! includes black & white designer paper in some of our packages. The Mixed Media Florals Designer Paper happens to have a sheet in black & white that I colored:

You can see in the photo below that I used our Stampin’ Write Markers to color most of the images and some I left as black & white:

It was easy to finish off my card with a simple sentiment and a ribbon bow so I would not cover the colored images:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Labeled With Love
- Cardstock: Garden Green, Daffodil Delight
- Designer Paper: Mixed Labels
- Inks: Real Red
- Stampin’ Write Markers: Garden Green, Daffodil Delight, Real Red
- Tools & Accessories: Labeled With Love Punch, Iridescent 1/2″ Striped Trim, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Garden Green Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Daffodil Delight Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Mixed Media Florals Designer Paper 5 x 3-3/4. Color the images with Stampin’ Write Markers. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Ribbon: Wrap the ribbon around the card front and tie into a bow at the right.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Daffodil Delight Cardstock with Real Red Ink. Cut with the punch positioned to the left as shown in the first photo below:

- Place the sentiment layer back into the punch and move it over to the right to shorten and punch shape. Glue over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
