Sketch Challenge Week With Hearts Of Elegance!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends . This week we are using this sketch as a guideline for our projects. I hope you’ll give it a try!
I used some new products on my card today. The Hearts Of Elegance Bundle, Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins and the Marbled Elegance Designer Paper:
I also added a layer of Gold Foil Sheets and some pretty diecut hearts:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Hearts Of Elegance
- Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Melon Mambo, Gold Foil Sheets
- Designer Paper: Marbled Elegance
- Inks: Real Red
- Tools & Accessories: Hearts Of Elegance Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Real Red Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Real Red Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Set aside.
- Layer 4: Strip of Marbled Elegance Designer Paper 1/2″ wide. Also cut a scrap piece of cardstock 1/2″ wide to use as a template. Lay the template at the bottom left corner for spacing. Add a 1/2″ strip of designer paper and glue in place. Place the template above the designer paper and add another strip of designer paper. Add as many as you want, I added 3 strips.
- Layer 5: Gold Foil Sheets 4 x 2-3/4. Glue to the center of the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 6: Basic White Cardstock 3-3/4 x 2-1/2. Stamp the sentiment at the top right with Real Red Ink. Glue to gold layer.
- Hearts: Cut (1) detailed heart with the die and Melon Mambo Cardstock. Cut one small stitched heart with the die and Gold Foil Sheets. Glue the melon heart flat at the bottom left corner of the white layer. Glue the gold heart with dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins to the left of the diecut hearts.
