Sweetest Star Gingerbread Man!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends . This week, our challenge team is using these three colors on our projects:
The Sweetest Star Bundle is just that…sweet! Look at the adorable gingerbread man that I created by stamping and punching:
I also added Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels over the buttons on the belly and added ribbon to the tag tied with Linen Thread:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Sweetest Star
- Cardstock: Early Espresso, Copper Clay, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Neutrals, Splendid Autumn
- Inks: Early Espresso
- Tools & Accessories: Sweetest Star Punch, Wild Wheat Rustic Striped Ribbon, Linen Thread, Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Early Espresso Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Emboss with the Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Neutrals Designer Paper 4-1/2 x 3-1/4. Glue to card front at an angle.
- Layer 4: Create a tag with the Splendid Autumn Designer Paper 3-3/4 x 2-1/4. Trim the top corners at an angle. Punch a hole at the top. Wrap the ribbon around the tag leaving two tails on each end cut at an angle. Wrap the two tails together with Linen Thread. Glue to designer paper at an opposite angle.
- Layer 5: Stamp the gingerbread man on Copper Clay Cardstock with Early Espresso Ink. Cut with the punch. Add Iridescent Pearl Jewels to the belly over the buttons. Glue to tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock with Early Espresso Ink. Cut close to the wording and glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
