Humble Home & A Color Challenge!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends . We have a Color Challenge this week for you:
This is the card I came up with using the Humble Home Bundle, which includes the stamp set and coordinating punch:
I added a little bit of color to the white background by using Summer Splash Ink and a Blending Brush. I kept the ink blending subtle:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Humble Home
- Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Highland Heather
- Designer Paper: 2024-2026 In Color
- Inks: Highland Heather, Peach Pie, Summer Splash
- Tools & Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Humble Home Punch, 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Blending Brush, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2. Use a Blending Brush to add a large circle of color in the center.
- Layer 2: In Color Designer Paper (Peach Pie), pick two patterns and cut 5-1/2 x 3/4″. Glue to the left side even with the edge and overlapped on each other.
- Layer 3: Cut a circle with the 3″ Stylish Shapes Dies and In Color Designer Paper (Summer Splash). Glue about 1″ from the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment below the circle with Highland Heather Ink.
- House: Stamp the house image on Highland Heather Cardstock with Highland Heather Ink. Cut with the punch. Glue to the circle towards the left.
- Heart: Stamp the heart image on Basic White Cardstock with Peach Pie Ink. Handcut with Paper Snips. Tuck and glue under the house on the right.
- Bling: Add In Color Shimmer Gems below the circle on the right.
