Color Challenge Week For Our Team!

It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends. What a pretty color combination our team used this week. Take a look:

And my card using those three colors:

I added one solo butterfly from our Paper Butterfly Accents. I thought it went well with the sentiment and designer paper I chose. I also added three mini banners below the sentiment layer:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

• Stamps: Autumn Expressions
• Cardstock: Soft Sea Foam, Pebbled Path, Moody Mauve
• Designer Paper: Wildly Flowering
• Inks: Pebbled Path
• Tools & Accessories: Paper Butterfly Accents, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Card Recipe:

• Card Base: Soft Sea Foam Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
• Layer 2: Pebbled Path Cardstock 4 x 1-1/4. Glue 1/4″ from the top of the card base..
• Layer 3: Wildly Flowering Designer Paper 4 x 4. Glue 1/4″ from the bottom of the card base.
• Layer 4: Moody Mauve Cardstock 4 x 1/2. Glue where the designer paper and cardstock meet.
• Layer 5: Soft Sea Foam Cardstock 3-1/2 x 2-3/4. Stamp the sentiment at the bottom with Pebbled Path Ink. Glue to card front 3/4″ from the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals, leaving the bottom open for the banners.
• Banners: Cut 3 banners that measure 1-1/4 x 3/4. Slide one under the Soft Sea Foam layer and glue flat in the center and 1/4″ from the bottom. Glue the other two a little higher by sliding under the Soft Sea Foam layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Butterfly: Glue one Paper Butterfly Accents above the sentiment with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals cut in half.
• Bling: Add Rhinestone Basic Jewels around the butterfly and to the banner in the center.
