CASE the Catalog Week 2!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends. I hope you are enjoying our Case The Catalog challenges during the month of July. This is our 2nd week and this is the card we are casing from the Annual Catalog this week:
For my card this week, I chose to case the layout and used a different stamp & die bundle and designer paper:
The Perennial Lavender Designer Paper looks great when paired with the Painted Lavender Bundle. I love the two patterned designer paper sheets I used for my layers:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Painted Lavender
- Cardstock: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather
- Designer Paper: Perennial Lavender
- Inks: Gorgeous Grape, Lemon Lime Twist
- Tools & Accessories: Painted Lavender Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Gorgeous Grape Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Perennial Lavender Designer Paper 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to card front.
- Layer 3: Perennial Lavender Designer Paper 3-3/4 x 2-1/4. Glue to card front about 3/4″ from the left side.
- Diecuts: Cut (2) branches with the dies and Basic White Cardstock. Glue to Layer 3.
- Flowers: Stamp the flowers image (3) times with Lemon Lime Twist Ink and cut with the dies. Glue over the white diecuts with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Highland Heather Cardstock with Gorgeous Grape Ink. Cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots to the designer paper background.
