Color Challenge This Week!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends and this week our challenge team used these colors for our Color Challenge:
This is the card I created using the Spotlight On Nature stamp set. I just love the cute little fussy-cut butterfly image I added to the branches & leaves:
The circular dies in this bundle are so pretty. They all have some type of decorative border around the inside edge:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Spotlight On Nature
- Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Basic Gray, Bubble Bath, Shy Shamrock
- Designer Paper: 2024-2026 In Color
- Inks: Basic Gray, Shy Shamrock
- Stampin’ Blends: Bubble Bath, Shy Shamrock
- Tools & Accessories: Spotlight On Nature Dies, Irridescent Striped Trim, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips, Mini Glue Dots
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: In Color Designer Paper 5-1/2 x 4-1/4. Glue to card front.
- Layer 3: Spotlight On Nature Dies 3-7/8 circle with Basic Gray Cardstock. Glue about 1″ from the top to card front.
- Layer 4: Spotlight On Nature Dies 3-1/4 circle with Bubble Bath Cardstock. Glue to gray circle.
- Branches: Stamp the branch image on Shy Shamrock Cardstock with Shy Shamrock Ink. Repeat twice and cut both with Paper Snips. Glue to pink circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Butterfly: Stamp the butterfly image on Basic White Cardstock with Basic Gray Ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends. Cut with Paper Snips and glue to branches.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock with Basic Gray Ink. Handcut close to the lettering and glue to the branches.
- Ribbon: Tie a double bow with the ribbon and glue to the bottom of the branches with Mini Glue Dots.
