Winter Scene Theme!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. I hope you had a very Merry Christmas. As I write this, I am visiting with my Mom for a few days. I spent Christmas morning & afternoon with my daughter’s family and then ventured over to my Mom’s. If you are traveling post-holiday, please be safe!
This week, our blog hop theme is Winter Scene. This was so easy to accomplish using the pretty tree image from the Ornamental Christmas Bundle:

I stamped the same tree image at different heights with VersaMark Ink and sprinkled white embossing powder:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Ornamental Christmas, Delicate Pines
- Inks: VersaMark, Blueberry Bushel
- Cardstock: Basic White, Blueberry Bushel
- Tools & Accessories: Basics Embossing Powders, Heat Tool, Low Profile Sparkle Dots, Happy Labels Pick A Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Blueberry Bushel Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 4-7/8 x 3-5/8. Glue to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 3: Blueberry Bushel Cardstock 4-3/4 x 3-1/2. Stamp the tree image repeatedly across the bottom at different heights with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder. Melt the powder with the Heat Tool. Glue to white layer.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock 2-3/4 x 5/8 using Blueberry Bushel Ink. Cut the left end with the Happy Labels Pick A Punch. Glue above the trees at the right and flat.
- Bling: Add Low Profile Sparkle Dots to the background.
