Pink Champagne Theme!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends and a Pink Champagne theme. We at Stampin’ Up! can’t complain about a lack of pinks. I’m using two today: Flirty Flamingo and Bubble Bath:

I created a Gate Fold Card with a Belly Band to hold it in the closed position. You can see how the belly band has been removed and also the card in the open position:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

• Stamps: Cheers & Sips
• Inks: Cloud Cover
• Cardstock: Bubble Bath, Flirty Flamingo
• Designer Paper: Celebratory Sips
• Tools & Accessories: Cheers & Sips Dies

Card Recipe:

• Card Base: Flirty Flamingo Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score at 2-1/8 on both ends and fold.
• Inside Layer: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to inside of card base.
• Inside Designer Paper: Celebratory Sips Designer Paper 4 x 3/4. Glue to white layer 1/4″ from the bottom.
• Front Layer 2: Bubble Bath, cut 2, 5-1/4 x 1-7/8. Glue to both front flaps.
• Front Layer 3: Celebratory Sips Designer Paper, cut 2, 5 x 1-5/8. Glue to both front flaps.

Belly Band:

• Band: Flirty Flamingo Cardstock 11 x 1-1/2. Score at 3-1/2 & 7-7/8. Wrap around the card base and glue the ends on top of each other.
• Layer 2: Bubble Bath Cardstock 4 x 1-1/4. Glue over the belly band on top of where the two ends were glued together.
• Layer 3: Flirty Flamingo Cardstock 3 x 2-1/2. Glue 1/2″ from the right side of belly band.
• Layer 4: Bubble Bath Cardstock 2-3/4 x 2-1/4. Glue to flamingo layer.
• Designer Paper: Follow these steps:
  • Cut 2 drink images from the designer paper edges (partially cut off images). Glue to bubble layer on each side.
  • Cut a full glass from the designer paper with the die. Glue with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Stamp the branch image on Basic White Cardstock with Cloud Cover Ink. Cut with the die and tuck inside the glass with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Stamp 3 lemon slices on Bubble Bath Cardstock with Cloud Cover Ink. Cut with the die. Glue one flat to the right of the glass, one flat to the left of the glass and the 3rd one with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Bubble Bath Cardstock 1-1/4 x 1/4 with Cloud Cover Ink. Glue over the glass to the right.
