Falling Leaves With Non-Traditional Colors Theme!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. I’m one of those people that loves to use non-traditional colors for holidays or any other type of project. In the stamping world, we can color a stamped image any color we want. These are my non-traditional leaves for our theme this week:

I used Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather & Flirty Flamingo for my colors:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Artistic Leaves
- Inks: Highland Heather, Flirty Flamingo
- Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Flirty Flamingo, Basic White
- Tools & Accessories: Paper Snips, Stylish Shapes Dies, Fresh Freesia Velvet Ribbon, Purple Fine Shimmer Gems, Paper Snips, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Fresh Freesia Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2. Stamp the dotted image at the top right and bottom left with Highland Heather Ink.
- Layer 2: Flirty Flamingo Cardstock 4-1/2 x 3-1/4. Glue to card front.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 4-1/4 x 3. Stamp the large leaf image repeatedly with Flirty Flamingo Ink. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Flirty Flamingo Cardstock with Highland Heather Ink. Cut with the 1-1/2″ circle from Stylish Shapes Dies. Glue to white layer on the right with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Leaves: Stamp 3 leaves with Highland Heather Ink on Fresh Freesia Cardstock. Handcut with Paper Snips. Tuck and glue under the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Ribbon: Tie a knot with the ribbon and trim the ends at an angle. Glue to sentiment layer at the left.
- Bling: Add Purple Fine Shimmer Gems to the white background.
