Fern & Flora Bundle & Scalloped Blooms Dies!
Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge photo gives us so many ideas for our projects. Take a peek:
I opted to stick with the scalloped circle shapes and added some flowers, branches & moths to my card this week. I also made my card base a little skinnier than normal so that the scalloped layers stick out on the sides:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Fern & Flora
- Inks: Peaceful Pine, Crisp Cantaloupe
- Blends: Crisp Cantaloupe
- Cardstock: Crisp Cantaloupe, Peaceful Pine, Basic Beige, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Bloom Boutique
- Tools & Accessories; Fern & Flora Dies, Scalloped Blooms Dies, Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Crisp Cantaloupe 11 x 3-1/2. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Bloom Boutique Designer Paper cut with the 4-1/8″ Scalloped Blooms Dies. Glue to card front flat and about 1/2″ from the top.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock cut with the 3-1/2″ Scalloped Blooms Dies. Stamp the 2 floral images side-by-side with Peaceful Pine Ink. Color the buds and folded over petals with Stampin’ Blends. Glue to designer paper scallop flat.
- Fern 1: Use the long skinny fern die to cut 1 with Basic Beige Cardstock. Glue to the bottom of the scallops to the bottom right corner.
- Fern 2: Stamp the large fern image on Peaceful Pine Cardstock with Peaceful Pink Ink. Cut with the die. Glue over the scallops and beige fern with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the frame image on Basic White Cardstock with Peaceful Pink Ink. Stamp the sentiment with Crisp Cantaloupe Ink. Cut with the die. Tuck and glue under the stamped fern with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the left.
- Flowers: Use the small flower dies with Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock. Cut 2 of each flower. Layer and glue 2 flower pieces together. Glue the flowers around the fern with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Moths: Stamp 2 moths on Basic Beige Cardstock with Peaceful Pine Ink. Cut with the die. Glue one to the fern and one to the white background with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems to the white background.
- Inside Layer: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 3-1/4.
