Scalloped Wishes & Scenic Coast Designer Paper!

Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is this one where you can choose the colors, the theme and maybe the cattails like I did:

Along with my cattails, I also incorporated the colors:

I layered some diecut leaves with the cattails image that are all layered over a beautiful diecut scallop:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Scalloped Wishes
- Inks: Secret Sea
- Cardstock: Golden Glow, Secret Sea, Basic White, Highland Heather, Garden Green
- Designer Paper: Scenic Coast
- Tools & Accessories: Scalloped Wishes Dies, Party Banners Dies, Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder, Golden Glow Bordered Ribbon, Linen Thread, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Golden Glow Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Highland Heather Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Emboss with the Stone & Vine Embossing Folder. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Scenic Coast Designer Paper cut with the Party Banners Dies 4-1/2 x 3-1/2. Set aside.
- Ribbon: Wrap the ribbon around the banner with two tails on the left side. Wrap Linen Thread around the tails into a bow. Cut the ends of the ribbon tails at an angle. Glue banner to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Scallop Layer 1: Secret Sea Cardstock cut with the non-detailed scallop die. Glue to banner.
- Scallop Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock cut with the detailed scallop die. Glue over the secret sea scallop flat.
- Cattails: Stamp the cattails image on Basic White Cardstock using Secret Sea Ink. Cut with the die. Glue to scallop with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Leaves: Cut 2 leaf branches with Garden Green Cardstock and the leaf die. Glue one tucked under the cattails and one over the cattails.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Golden Glow Cardstock 1-1/4 x 1/4 with Secret Sea Ink. Glue over the cattails at the bottom and add Mini Dimensionals on each end.
