All Aflutter & Bloom Boutique Designer Paper!
Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. I truly love butterflies and I love this week’s inspiration challenge photo:
I replicated three things this week from the photo:
- The colors
- The butterfly theme
- A background full of butterflies
The All Aflutter Bundle makes it so easy to stamp the two-step stamped butterflies and also the coordinating punch to cut some of them out so they pop on my white layer:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: All Aflutter
- Inks: Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia, Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana
- Cardstock: Coastal Cabana, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Bloom Boutique
- Tools & Accessories: All Aflutter Punch, Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Coastal Cabana Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Bloom Boutique Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 4-1/4 x 3. Stamp the butterfly and images and sentiment as follows:
- Stamp the sentiment at the bottom with Coastal Cabana Ink.
- Stamp the bold body image by stamping on scrap paper first and without reinking. This will create a lighter ink color.
- Stamp the detailed body image over the bold image with the same ink color.
- Stamp a few of the “flight” dotted lines to a few butterflies.
- Stamp the 3 butterflies on a separate scrap Basic White Cardstock layer. Cut with the punch and glue to white layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Add Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to the background.
- Glue layer at a angle to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
