Create With Stamping Friends-Inspiration Monday 434

Fern & Flora Plants!

Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration challenge is a greenhouse full of plants:

I have 8 flower gardens on my property and also a veggie garden. So during the summer months, I spend a lot of time outdoors plus harvesting veggies during the fall months. I like to grow my own food so I know what’s in it!

I chose to use the Ferns & Flora Bundle along with the Moonlit Flora Designer Paper for my card today:

I stamped an image without coloring and then added my fern layers and a cute butterfly:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

  • Stamps: Fern & Flora
  • Inks: Basic Black Hybrid
  • Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Lemon Lime Twist, Old Olive, Smoky Slate, Basic Black
  • Designer Paper: Moonlit Flora
  • Tools & Accessories: Fern & Flora Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Card Recipe:

  • Card Base: Old Olive Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
  • Layer 2: Pecan Pie Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
  • Layer 3: Moonlit Flora Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 2. Glue to the left side of the Pecan Pie layer.
  • Layer 4: Basic Black Cardstock 5-1/4 x 1/4. Glue to the right side of the designer paper layer.
  • Stamped Branch: Stamp the branch on the Pecan Pie layer with Basic Black Ink.
  • Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Smoky Slate Cardstock with Basic Black Ink. Cut with the label shape die. Glue to the bottom right with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Ferns: Cut the large fern with the die and Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock and the smaller fern with Old Olive Cardstock. Tuck and glue under the sentiment layer.
  • Butterfly: Stamp the butterfly on Smoky Slate Cardstock with Basic Black Ink. Cut with the die. Glue with Stampin’ Dimensionals above the ferns.
