Fern & Flora Bundle!

Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is this gorgeous sunset photo:

I chose the fern theme for my card and added some pretty colors:

The colorful background was created with our Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, Water Painters, Inks, and a Stampin’ Spritzer full of water.


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Fern & Flora
- Inks: Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia, Flirty Flamingo, Shaded Spruce
- Cardstock: Peaceful Pine, Fresh Freesia, Flirty Flamingo, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper
- Tools & Accessories: Fern & Flora Dies, Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder, Water Painter, Stampin’ Spritzer, Dewdrops Embellishments, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Foam Adhesive Sheets
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Peaceful Pine Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score at 5-1/2 and fold.
- Layer 2: Fresh Freesia Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Emboss with the Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper 4-3/4 x 3-1/2. Follow these steps:
- Spritz with water using the Stampin’ Spritzer.
- Use the ink from the three ink pads to drop color onto the water with a Water Painter. The ink wil spread on it’s own. You can allow to air dry of use a Heat Tool.
- Once dry, add a Foam Adhesive Sheet to the back and glue to card front 1/4″ from the right side.
- Ferns: Stamp 2 large fern images with Shaded Spruce Ink. Cut with the die. Glue to watercolor paper at the bottom and layered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Fiddleheads: Use the fiddlehead fern die to cut 3. Tuck and glue under the large ferns flat.
- Sentiment: Stamp the frame and sentiment on Flirty Flamingo Cardstock with Shaded Spruce Ink. Cut with the die. Glue over the ferns flat.
- Moths: Stamp 3 moth images on Fresh Freesia Cardstock with Shaded Spruce Ink. Cut with the die. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Dewdrops Embellishments to the large ferns.
