Fun With Stripes!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. This week, we are all using stripes on our cards and I picked a pattern from our color family designer papers:

I used the Peach Pie pattern from the 2024-2026 In Colors Designer Paper. It’s perfect for the stripes background and then I added a pretty layered flower from our Coneflower Celebration Bundle. I love how the flower diecuts a doubled flower with a score line so you can fold it, glue it and opens to add a message inside:



Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Coneflower Celebration
- Inks: Pecan Pie, Fresh Freesia
- Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Peach Pie, Pecan Pie, Fresh Freesia, Garden Green, Lemon Lime Twist
- Designer Paper: 2024-2026 In Color
- Tools & Accessories: Coneflower Celebration Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Nested Essential Dies
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Peach Pie In Color Designer Paper 5-1/2 x 4-1/4. Glue to card base.
- Cone Flower: Follow these steps:
- Flower Base: Stamp the large flower image on Pecan Pie Cardstock leaving enough room to cut with the double flower die. Fold on score line and glue to the top left of the card front.
- Peach Pie Cardstock cut (2) with the detailed flower die. Glue both flower together at the top. Glue over the Pecan Pie layer.
- Pecan Pie Cardstock cut with the flower center die. Glue over the flower at the top.
- Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock cut with the stem die. Tuck and glue the stem under the Pecan Pie layer.
- Cut the 2 bold leaf dies with Garden Green Cardstock and the 2 detailed leaves dies with Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock. Assemble the leaves by gluing to each other. Glue to the stem with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Pecan Pie Cardstock with Pecan Pie Ink. Cut with Nested Essential Dies #2. Glue over the stem.
- Butterfly: Stamp the butterfly on Fresh Freesia Cardstock with Fresh Freesia Ink. Cut with the die and glue to the flower.
