Fun With Dots Theme!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends. Dot, dot, dot…..today’s theme for our Blog Hop theme is DOTS! See what I did with my background?

I used the 2 round stamp images from the Impressions Abloom stamp set. It was so easy to add the two colors and I’ll show you how!


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Impressions Abloom, The Right Words
- Inks: Memento Black, VersaMark
- Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Poppy Parade
- Tools & Accessories: Thankful Garden Dies, Neutral Matte Dots, Nested Essential Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Heat Tool, Basics Embossing Powders
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Basic Black Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Poppy Parade Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4 and follow these steps:
- Stamp the 2 round images repeatedly to fill up the cardstock layer with Memento Black Ink.
- Repeat using VersaMark Ink, overlapping some on the black circles.
- Sprinkle with white embossing powder.
- Melt with the Heat Tool.
- Glue to card front.
- Branches: Use the 2 branch dies to cut two of each. One die with Basic Black Cardstock and one die with Basic White Cardstock. Glue all 4 branches to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 4: Stamp the sentiment with Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, Cut with the Nested Essential Dies 2-5/8 x 2. Glue over the leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Neutral Matte Dots to the sentiment layer.
