Color Challenge This Week!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends. Are you ready for some pretty colors this week? In the line-up of colors is a new color, a returning color and a current color. I love the way these three colors work so well together:
I chose the Country Flowers Bundle which is fun to stamp and color on Basic White Cardstock or stamp on colored cardstock. I did both!
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Country Flowers
- Cardstock: Summer Splash, Highland Heather, Blueberry Bushel, Basic White
- Designer Paper: 2024-2026 In Color
- Inks: VersaMark, Blueberry Bushel
- Stampin’ Blends: Summer Splash, Highland Heather, Blueberry Bushel
- Tools & Accessories: Country Flowers Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Basics Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Blueberry Bushel Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Stamp the flower image in the center with Blueberry Bushel Ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: 2024-2026 In Color Designer Paper 5 x 3-3/4. Use the 3″ circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut a hole in the center. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Vase & Plant: Stamp the teapot vase on Highland Heather Cardstock with Blueberry Bushel Ink. Cut with the die and glue over the circle at the bottom right. Stamp the plant on Summer Splash Cardstock with Blueberry Bushel Ink. Cut with the die and glue to the vase.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Blueberry Bushel Cardstock with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder. Melt with the Heat Tool. Hand-cut close to the lettering with Paper Snips. Glue to the left of the plant.
