Christmas Theme With Humble Home & Snowy Wonder!
Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and for this month, this is our theme:
Stampin’ Up! always has the best Christmas products. I know some of my customers and stamping friends start really early on their Christmas cards each year. Here’s an easy one to replicate with scraps of designer papers:
I used the Humble Home Bundle & the Snowy Wonder Bundle along with torn strips of designer paper from the Take A Bow sheets:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Humble Home, Snowy Wonder
- Inks: Garden Green, Real Red
- Cardstock: Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Take A Bow
- Tools & Accessories: Humble Home Punch, Snowy Wonder Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Garden Green Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Granny Apple Green Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Set aside.
- Layer 4: Use different sized designer paper strips and tear the long edge. Glue to the Basic White layer starting on the left side. As you add strips of torn designer paper, layer over the previous torn strip. Trim all four sides when layering is completed. Glue to card front.
- Layer 5: Granny Apple Green Cardstock 5 x 1. Stamp the sentiment to the right with Garden Green Ink. Glue to card front about 1-1/4″ from the bottom.
- Layer 6: Stylish Shapes Dies circle #2 cut with Basic White Cardstock. Glue to the left of the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamped Images: Stamp the house with Real Red Ink and the tree with Garden Green Ink. Cut with the punch and the die. Glue to white circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
