Fall Flora Theme With Heirloom Boutique!
Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week. This is our last week with the Fall Flora theme so make sure you visit next week for our new October theme!
For my simple card this week, I used only 3 layers of cardstock and black-embossed the flower images:
I colored the flowers and leaves with Stampin’ Blends and added a little bit of subtle ink to the background with a Blending Brush:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Heirloom Boutique
- Inks: VersaMark, Calypso Coral
- Stampin’ Blends: Calypso Coral, Golden Glow, Old Olive
- Cardstock: Golden Glow, Basic Black, Basic White
- Tools & Accessories: Basics Embossing Powders, Heat Tool, Painted Patch Adhesive Backed Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Golden Glow Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic Black Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Follow these steps:
- Basic White Cardstock 4-5/8 x 3-3/8.
- Stamp the flower image around the top and left edge with VersaMark Ink.
- Sprinkle with black embossing powder.
- Melt with the Heat Tool.
- Color the flowers and leaves with Stampin’ Blends.
- Stamp the sentiment at the bottom right with Calypso Coral Ink.
- Glue layer to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Painted Patch Adhesive Backed Dots around the flowers.
