Fall Flora Theme!

Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends and Creatively Simple Tuesday. For the month of September, we are using this theme on our projects:

If you haven’t seen the Extraordinary Flora Bundle, I love it. I’ve had it for awhile and finally used it. It’s one huge stamp full of flower images. And there’s more! There’s one huge die that can cut them all out in one step. Because our Tuesday projects are simple cards, I opted to just stamp and color the flower and leaf images with Stampin’ Blends:

I also used a sentiment from our new Stampin’ Hot Foil System from the Classic Greetings. Know what else is fun with this new sytem? You can hot foil a bunch of them at once so you always have them on hand. This is what I did recently and will show you more in another post later:

You can see how shiny the Gold Foil sentiment is that I used on this one:

- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 4-3/4 x 3-1/4. Follow these steps:
- Use a Blending Brush to add Barely Blush Ink to the edges of the cardstock and more in the corners, leaving the center area white.
- Stamp the large flower image with Pecan Pie Ink.
- Color the images with Stampin’ Blends.
- Glue layer to card front at an angle with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Layer 4: Vellum Cardstock 4-3/4 x 1. Glue to white layer 1/4″ from the bottom. I used Mini Glue Dots where the sentiment would cover.
- Sentiment: Use the Stampin’ Hot Foil System with the products listed to create the sentiment. Glue over the Vellum with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
