Fall Flora Theme!

Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! We are starting a new month today and that means this new theme:

If you are a Stampin’ Up! customer or demonstrator, you knew we have plenty of florals that will qualify in being used for our Fall Flora theme. This week, I’m using the Radiant Sunflowers Bundle, Sunflower Fields Designer Paper and Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder on my card:

I colored the stamped sunflower with Stampin’ Blends and then added Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush to the center of my flower and to the leaves. You can see the sparkle:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

• Stamps: Radiant Sunflowers
• Inks: Cajun Craze
• Stampin’ Blends: Golden Glow, Pecan Pie, Old Olive
• Cardstock: Golden Glow, Basic Beige, Cajun Craze, Basic White
• Designer Paper: Sunflower Fields Designer Paper
• Tools & Accessories: Radiant Sunflowers Dies, Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush

Card Recipe:

• Card Base: Cajun Craze Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
• Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4, Set aside.
• Layer 3: Basic Beige Cardstock 4 x 4. Emboss with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder. Glue 1/8″ from the top of the card base. Set aside.
• Layer 4: Golden Glow Cardstock 4 x 2-1/2. Emboss with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder. Cut from the top left corner down to 1-1/4 on the right side.
• Glue both embossed layers to the white layer even at the top and bottom. Set aside.
• Layer 5: Cajun Craze Cardstock 5 x 1-1/2. Tear both long edges. Glue over the embossed layer where the two colors meet and trim the ends.
• Layer 6: Sunflower Fields Designer Paper 5 x 1. Tear both long edges. Glue over the Cajun Craze layer. Trim the ends.
• Glue completed layers to card base.
• Sentiment: Golden Glow Cardstock cut with the label shape die. Stamp the sentiment to the left with Cajun Craze Ink. Gue the right end close to the sentiment. Glue 3/4″ from the top right with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Sunflower: Stamp, color and cut the following:
  • Stamp 2 sunflowers with Cajun Craze Ink on Basic White Cardstock.
  • Stamp 3 leaves with Cajun Craze Ink on Basic White Cardstock.
  • Layer the 2 flowers on top of each other with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Glue the flower to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Tuck and glue the leaves around the flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Color the center of the flower and the leaves with Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush.
