The Mister Theme!
Hello and welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week. This is our theme for this month:
I like creating projects for The Mister. I’m one of those demonstrators that has always loved creating masculine cards and this one is an eye-opener with all of the bright colors:
I used a few stamps, a few diecuts, designer paper and some pretty colors:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Sunset Coast
- Inks: Basic Gray, Timid Tiger
- Cardstock: Timid Tiger, Basic Black, Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight
- Designer Paper: Scenic Coast
- Tools & Accessories: Sunset Coast Dies, Everyday Arches Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Timid Tiger Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic Black Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Scenic Coast Designer Paper cut with the Everyday Arches Dies 4-1/2″ tall. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 4: Daffodil Delight Cardstock cut with the sunray die. Glue to arch layer flat.
- Layer 5: Basic Gray Cardstock cut with the rock image. Cut with the die and glue layered over the sunray on the bottom right with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Birds: Basic Black cut with the 3 bird dies. Glue to sunray flat.
- Sailboat: Timid Tiger Cardstock stamped with the sailboat image in Timid Tiger Ink. Cut with th edie and glue to the opening of the rock with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Timid Tiger Cardstock 1-1/2 x 1/2. Stamp the sentiment with Basic Gray Ink. Glue to the left of the rock flat.
