The Mister Theme With Waterside Retreat!
Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week. The Mister is our theme this month and I love to create masculine cards!
I cheated and used some of the printed images from our Waterside Retreat Designer Paper. I just used my Paper Snips and left a little bit of white space around the images and glue them to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals:
I also stamped direct-to-paper for the framed image and then added a separate layer for the sentiment that was cut with a punch:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Exciting Times
- Inks: Misty Moonlight
- Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Garden Green
- Designer Paper: Waterside Retreat
- Tools & Accessories: Rounded Rectangular Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Misty Moonlight Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Waterside Retreat Designer Paper 5 x 3-3/4. Stamp the framed image with Misty Moonlight Ink at the left about 1-1/4″ from the top. Glue to card base at an angle flat.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment and framed image on Garden Green Cardstock with Misty Moonlight Ink. Cut with the punch. Glue over the frame on the designer paper with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Vest, Oat, Lifesaver: Cut all 3 printed images from the designer paper and glue to the bottom right corner of the sentiment layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
