New In Colors Theme!

Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week. This is our last week using this theme:

For my last In Color themed project, I used Barely Blush as my color and because my designer paper layer has little gold foil flowers, I added a Gold Foil diecut dragonfly:

The scalloped die layer is so elegant against all of my other layers and I adorned it with In Color Dots once everything was stamped and glued in place:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Scalloped Wishes
- Inks: Barely Blush
- Cardstock: Barely Blush, Basic White, Gold Foil Sheets.
- Designer Paper: Bloom Boutique
- Tools & Accessories: Scalloped Wishes Dies, In Color Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Barely Blush Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 4-3/4 x 3-1/2. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Bloom Boutique Designer Paper 4-1/2 3-1/4. Cut on the long side at every 1/2″ to end up with 9 strips. Start at the left or right over the white layer by adding Stampin’ Dimensionals to the first strip, flat on the next strip and alternating. Leave a 1/8″ spacing around all four sides.
- Scallop: Basic White Cardstock cut with the oval scalloped die. Glue to card front flat.
- Scallop Center: Use the same scalloped die to cut with Barely Blush Cardstock. Use the center only and stamp the sentiment on the left with Barely Blush Ink. Glue to the center of the white oval with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Dragonfly: Cut using the die and Gold Foil Sheets. Glue to the right of the sentiment flat.
- Bling: Add In Color Dots to thte center oval.
