New In Colors Theme!

Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! By now, you all know that five new In Colors have made their appearance in our newest Mini Catalog. Each Tuesday, Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and this month is all about…..

I picked Golden Glow as my New In Color to feature for you this week:

The Bloom Boutique Designer Paper is perfect to use for our In Color projects. My monochromatic card shows you cardstock, bling, designer paper and ink in the same color:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

  • Stamps: Fern & Flora
  • Inks: Golden Glow
  • Cardstock: Golden Glow, Basic White
  • Designer Paper: Bloom Boutique
  • Tools & Accessories: Fern & Flora Dies, 2026-2028 In Color Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots

Card Recipe:

  • Card Base: Golden Glow Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
  • Layer 2: Bloom Boutique Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
  • Layer 3: Follow these steps:
    • Basic White Cardstock 3-7/8 x 3-1/4.
    • Trim by hand, a curvy cut about 1″ from the top right down to 1-3/4″ to the left.
    • Stamp the sentiment on the bottom section at the right with Golden Glow Ink.
    • Glue both pieces to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and leaving about a 3/4″ space between the two curvy edges.
  • Ferns: Cut 2 ferns with 2 different dies and Golden Glow Cardstock. Glue the larger fern over the white at the left and layer the 2nd fern with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals cut in half.
  • Moth: Stamp the moth image on Basic White Cardstock with Golden Glow Ink. Cut with the die and glue to the top white section with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Bling: Add 2026-2028 In Color Dots to the bottom white layer.
  • Ribbon: Create a knot with the ribbon. Cut the ends at an angle. Glue to the bottom of the ferns with Mini Glue Dots.
