Colored Embossing For A Gardens Theme!
Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and for this month, this is our theme:
We have a new embossing folder that will be available in May and that’s what I used to depict our Gardens theme. After I embossed the Basic White Cardstock layer, I used Blender Pens with some Watercolor Pencils:
After all of the embossing was colored, I added Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush to the flowers. The only stamping I have on this card is the sentiment layer:

- Stamps: Notes & Totes
- Inks: Strawberry Slush
- Cardstock: Lemon Lime Twist, Darling Duckling, Basic White
- Tools & Accessories: Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder, Modern Oval Punch, 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls, Watercolor Pencils, Blender Pens, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Darling Duckling Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 4-3/4 x 3-1/2. Emboss with the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder on the right edge. Color with Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens. Color the flowers with Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 4: Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock cut with the Modern Oval Punch. Stamp the sentiment in the center with Strawberry Slush Ink. Glue to the left on the white layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls to the 2 yellow flowers.
