Layers Of Beauty For A Garden Theme!

Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week. We are starting a new month and for this month, this is our theme:

I used some pretty colors and flowers to my card with lots of layers:

My flowers are colored using a Blending Brush and the masks that are included in the bundle. Wouldn’t these flowers look pretty in your flower garden?


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Layers Of Beauty
- Inks: Petunia Pop, Peach Pie, Lemon Lime Twist
- Cardstock: Petunial Pop, Basic White, Peach Pie
- Designer Paper: 2024-2026 In Color
- Tools & Accessories: Blending Brushes, Labeled With Love Punch, 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems, Petunia Pop Bordered Ribbon, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Petunia Pop 11 x 4-1/4, scored at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Follow these steps:
- Stamp the large flower image with Petunia Pop Ink.
- Use the masks to add two layers of color to the flowers with Peach Pie Ink.
- Use the masks to add Lemon Lime Twist Ink to the leaves.
- Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Designer Paper #1: 4 x 2-1/4. Glue even with the left edge of the Basic White Cardstock layer.
- Layer 4: Designer Paper #2: 4 x 1. Glue about 1/2″ from the left edge over Designer Paper #1.
- Sentiment: Stamp on Peach Pie Cardstock with Petunia Pop Ink. Cut with the Labeled With Love Punch. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Ribbon: Create a bow with the ribbon, cut the ends at an angle and glue to the bottom right corner of the sentiment layer.
- Bling: Add the embellishments to the small strip of designer paper.
