Easter Theme With Storybook Moments!
Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and for this month, this is our theme:
I used the Storybook Moments Designer Paper for a few of my layers and added a cute stamped bunny with a greeting from the Storybook Friends Bundle:
I colored the bunny image with Stampin’ Blends, diecut him and glued him in place with Stampin’ Dimensionals:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Storybook Friends
- Inks: Mossy Meadow
- Cardstock: Boho Blue, Basic White
- Stampin’ Blends: Smoky Slate, Boho Blue, Moody Mauve
- Designer Paper: Storybook Moments
- Tools & Accessories: Storybook Friends Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Pretty Peacock & Gold Metallic Ribbon, Tear & Tape
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Boho Blue Cardstocck 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Storybook Moments Designer Paper 5-1/2 x 2. Glue to the left edge.
- Ribbon: Add Tear & Tape to the inside edge of the designer paper layer. Press the ribbon in place and trim to fit.
- Layer 3: Storybook Moments Designer Paper (preprinted frame layer) 4 x 3. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bunny: Stamp the bunny on Basic White Cardstock with Mossy Meadow Ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends. Cut with the die. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Boho Blue Cardstock 1/2″ wide. Stamp the sentiment with Mossy Meadow Ink. Cut close to the lettering. Glue tucked under the rabbit.
