Easter Theme & Storybook Moments!

Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and for this month, this is our theme for the next few weeks:

To create my simple card this week, I used the Storybook Moments Designer Paper and let the paper do all of the work for me by adding 2 layers:

The only stamping I did on my card was the sentiment, which I white heat-embossed:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Storybook Friends
- Inks: VersaMark
- Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Storybook Moments
- Tools & Accessories: Basics Embossing Powders, Heat Tool, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Pecan Pie Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Storybook Moments Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 4-1/8 x 3-1/8. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Layer 4: Storybook Moments Designer Paper 4 x 3. Glue to white layer.
- Banner: Pecan Pie Cardstock 1-3/4 x 5/8. Use Paper Snips to cut the banner shape on the left end. Stamp the sentiment with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle white embossing powder and melt with a Heat Tool. Glue to the top right of the designer paper.
