Fruit Salad Designer Paper!

Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and for this month, this is our theme:

I love the Fruit Salad Designer Paper that you can earn for free during Sale-A-Bration. The printed sheets are so vibrant and colorful. I used the sheet with the cantaloupe:

The layers I used on my card keep it as a simple card and it’s so easy create when the designer paper does all of the work for you:



Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Ocean Friends
- Inks: Petal Pink
- Cardstock: Petal Pink, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Fruit Salad
- Tools & Accessories: Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Peach Pie Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score at 5-1/2″. Cut off 1-1/2 and keep this piece for the bottom section. Cut the card base once more at 2-1/2. This 3rd piece will serve as the center layer.
- Layer 2: Fuit Salad Designer Paper, cut 2 measuring 4 x 1-1/4. Glue to the top section of the card base and to the 1-1/2″ cardstock layer from the first cut. Set aside.
- Layer 3: Fruit Salad Designer Paper 4 x 2-1/4. Set aside.
- Melons: Using the designer paper with printed cantaloupes, cut 3 round cantaloupes and 3 sliced cantaloupes. Glue to the designer paper from layer 3 at the bottom. Glue one of the sliced cantaloupe on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Glue layer to the 3rd cardstock section. Add adhesive to the top and bottom and glue secured to the two front sections.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on a 1/2″ strip of Basic White Cardstock with Petal Pink Ink. Cut the 2 words apart. Glue to center section at the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
