It’s A Designer Paper Theme!

Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and for the month of February, this is our theme:

Who doesn’t love our Stampin’ Up! designer paper? The patterns and prints are always so beautiful. I used 3 different patterns on today’s card from the Toadstool Gardens Designer Paper:

I chose to create a Triple Panel Card Fold to show off the designer papers and added a layer of white on the inside center panel that you can write a message on:



Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Terrific Toadstools
- Inks: Fresh Freesia, Melon Mambo
- Cardstock: Basic White, Pumpkin Pie
- Designer Paper: Toadstool Gardens
- Tools & Accessories: Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Pumpkin Pie Cardstock 11 x 5-1/2. Score at 4-1/4 & 7-3/4
- Cut from the 4-1/4″ score line down to 2-1/4″ from the bottom at an angle.
- Cut across on the third section to 2-1/4″ wide. See photo:

- Fold on both score lines so the card sits this way:

- Designer Paper: (purple stripes) 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to the inside layer.
- Basic White Cardstock: 5-1/8 x 3-1/4. Measure 2-1/8 from the bottom left and cut an an angle to the top right. Glue to the center panel on the inside. You can stamp a sentiment of choice.
- Designer Paper: (Pink stripes) 5-1/5 x 4-1/4. Measure 2-1/8 from the bottom right and cut an an angle to the top right. Glue to the center panel on the opposite side of the white layer.
- Designer Paper: (mushrooms & bugs) 3 x 2. Glue to front section.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock 2-5/8 x 7/8. Trim the left end into a banner shape with Paper Snips. Stamp the sentiment with Fresh Freesia Ink. Glue to front panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
