A Hearts Theme With Hearts Of Elegance!

Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and for this month, this is our theme:

Do you like to create simple cards? Sometimes they can be just as challenging as a busy card full of layers. I kept this one Clean & Simple with LOTS of white space:

I used the Soft Waves Embossing Folder to partially emboss the left side of my white layer after stamping the sentiment:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

- Cardstock: Basic White, Melon Mambo, Pretty In Pink
- Tools & Accessories: Hearts Of Elegance Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Adhesive-Backed Hearts Sequins, Soft Waves Embossing Folder
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Basic White Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Stamp the sentiment with Melon Mambo Ink at the bottom right corner. Partially emboss the left side of the layer with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Your card was simply stunning to me. I also am curious how you photographed the card with the background. Could you share? If it’s an intricate process, it’s okay (I may not have the tools needed), but I am curious.
Hi Mary, I used a background I purchased online many years ago. If you search for photography backgrounds, you should be able to find many to pick from.
