Seasons Greetings Snowflakes Style!
Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and for this month, this is our theme:
At first glance, my card looks complicated but it truly is not. It’s just a bunch of diecut snowflakes with a handful of adhesive-backed snowflakes mixed in:
You can see that I have two designer paper patterns separated by a ribbon and then I got busy layering and adding the snowflakes & bling:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Snowy Wonder
- Inks: Calypso Coral
- Cardstock: Calypso Coral, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Snowy Scenes
- Tools & Accessories: Frozen Edges Dies, Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins, Adhesive-Backed Snowflake Assortment, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Tear & Tape
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Calypso Coral Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Designer Paper: Two patterns 5 x 2-1/2. Glue side-by-side to card front.
- Ribbon: Add Tear & Tape where the designer papers meet. Press the ribbon in place and trim to fit.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment onto the designer paper with Calypso Coral Ink on the right.
- Bling & Snowflakes: Cut various snowflakes using the dies with Calypso Coral and Basic White Cardstocks. Layer some together. Start gluing and layering the snowflakes to card front towards the center vertically, some with dimensionals, some flat and add in the Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins and Adhesive-Backed Snowflake Assortment.
