Seasons Greeting Theme!

Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and for this month, this is our theme:

I decided to go with a snowman this time, using some dies. This is a card that could be sent after Christmas if you didn’t finish sending your cards out on time. I used multiple die sets for some of the layers:

Dies used:

• Eyes: Round We Go Dies
• Nose: Snowy Wonder Dies
• Holly & Berries: Reindeer Fun

I used a white gel pen on the eyes and added Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the holly berries:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

• Stamps: Snowy Wonder
• Inks: Misty Moonlight
• Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Granny Apple Green, Boho Blue, Peach Pie, Basic Black
• Tools & Accessories: Round We Go Dies, Snowy Wonder Dies, Reindeer Fun, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
• Misc: White Gel Pen

Card Recipe:

• Card Base: Misty Moonlight Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2
• Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
• Layer 3: Boho Blue Cardstock 4 x 2-1/2. Glue even with the white layer at the top.
• Layer 4: Boho Blue Cardstock 4-1/4 x 3/4″. Glue over the Boho Blue layer even at the bottom with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Holly & Berries: Use the dies and Granny Apple Green Cardstock for the holly and Misty Moonlight Cardstock for the berries. Glue flat to the brim of the hat. Add Rhinestone Basic Jewels to each berry.
• Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment above the brim of the hat on the right with Misty Moonlight Ink.
• Eyes: Use the die to cut two circles with Basic Black Cardstock. Glue with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Draw dots and a squiggly line on each eye with a white gel pen.
• Nose: Use the die to cut the tree with Peach Pie Cardstock. Trim off the tree trunk to make the edge even. Glue below the eyes with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
