A Clean & Simple Card with Reindeer Fun!
Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week and for the month of December, this is our theme:
My creatively simple card this week uses a lot of white space and a few layers with some pretty ribbon:
I colored the jingle bells with Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush which sparkles so much in real life. I love the diecut holly leaves in Lemon Lime Twist:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Reindeer Fun
- Inks: Lemon Lime Twist, Real Red
- Stampin’ Blends: Real Red
- Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Lemon Lime Twist, Smoky Slate
- Designer Paper: Take A Bow
- Tools & Accessories: Reindeer Fun Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Petal Pink & White Diagonal Trim Combo Pack, Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush, Tear & Tape
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer 2: Take A Bow Designer Paper 4-1/4 x 4-1/4. Cut diagonally from the top left corner down to 1″ from the bottom right corner. Glue to card front even at the bottom.
- Ribbon: Add Tear & Tape to the top of the designer paper layer. Press the ribbon in place and trim the ends even.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment at the top left, spaced evenly diagonally above the ribbon with Lemon Lime Twist Ink.
- Holly: Cut the holly leaves with the dies and Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock. Glue to the left of the senitment and on the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bells: Stamp the bells image on Smoky Slate Cardstock with Real Red Ink. Cut with the die. Color the bells with Wink Of Stella. Glue over the holly leaves.
