Punch Art Theme: Let’s Get Punchy!

Welcome to Create With Stamping Friends Creatively Simple! Connie and I create simple cards with a theme each week. This is our theme for this month:

I used the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch this time to create a “hole” on the front of my card base, and then added designer paper punch shapes around the “hole”:

The Beautiful Gallery Designer Paper has such pretty patterns that really pop when added to a Secret Sea Cardstock card base:


Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Simply Said
- Inks: Old Olive
- Cardstock: Secret Sea, Basic White
- Designer Paper: Beautiful Gallery
- Tools & Accessories: Heartfelt Hexagon Punch, Moody Palette Glossy Dots
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Secret Sea Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4. Use the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch to add one “hole” on the front.
- Layer 2: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to the inside of the card base. Stamp the sentiment with Old Olive Ink to peek through the punch hole.
- Designer Paper: Cut several different paper patterns with the Heartfelf Hexagon Punch and start gluing in rows, leaving 1/8″ around each shape.
- Bling: Add Moody Palette Glossy Dots to the background.
