Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop

March 15, 2025 1 Comment

Casing Connie Babbert!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends.  This is our last week featuring CASE THE DESIGNER and this week we are featuring Connie Babbert. Here is her card that I chose to case:

I’m going to show you how I used the layout and colors to create a spring card rather than a winter card. I chose the Mixed Florals Bundle along with the Timeless Plaid Designer Paper:

Did you spy the cute little ladybugs I added to the card as well? And I colored the stamped image with Stampin’ Blends:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

  • Stamps: Mixed Florals
  • Inks: Memento Black
  • Stampin’ Blends: Poppy Parade, Pretty In Pink, Pool Party
  • Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Pretty In Pink, Basic White
  • Designer Paper: Timeless Plaid
  • Tools & Accessories: Mixed Florals Dies, Decled Circle Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Card Recipe:

  • Card Base: Poppy Parade Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
  • Layer 2: Pretty In Pink Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
  • Layer 3: 4-3/4 x 3-1/2. Use the 2-7/8 Deckled Circles Dies to cut a hole on the left. Glue designer paper to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Layer 4: Stamp the large flower image on Basic White Cardstock with Memento Black Ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends. Cut with the die. Trim off the bottom of the image and keep 3-1/4″ in length from the top. Tuck and glue inside the circle on the left with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment with Memento Black Ink on 1/2″ strip of Basic White Cardstock. Cut into two words. Glue to the right of the flower image.
  • Ladybugs: Stamp three ladybugs on Poppy Parade Cardstock with Memento Black Ink. Cut with the dies and glue to card front.
