Black & Gold Christmas Theme!

Welcome to our Saturday Blog Hop at Create With Stamping Friends.  Black & Gold is our theme this week and this is the card I created:

I added 7 total strips of the Modern Christmas Designer Paper in three patterns and then diecut with the Perennial Postage Dies:

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

  • Stamps: Ornamental Christmas
  • Inks: VersaMark
  • Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Gold Foil Sheets
  • Designer Paper: Modern Christmas
  • Tools & Accessories: Ornament Christmas Dies, Black & White & Gold Bakers Twine, Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems, Basics Embossing Powders, Heat Gun, Perennial Postage Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder

Card Recipe:

  • Card Base: Basic Black Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
  • Layer 2: Modern Christmas Designer Paper 3 patterns 5-1/4 x 4 for a total of 7 strips. Glue to a Basic White cardstock scrap. Cut with the largest Perennial Postage Dies. Glue to card base.
  • Circle: Cut 1 circle using the die and Gold Foil Sheets. Emboss with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Ornament: Cut 1 ornament with the die and Basic Black Cardstock. Stamp the sentiment with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder and melt with the Heat Tool. Glue to circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Oranement Topper: Cut 1 ornament topper with Basic White Cardstock. Glue to the top of the ornament.
  • Twine: Form a bow with the twine and glue to the ornament topper.
  • Bling: Add Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems to the bottom of the ornament.
