Hearts, Hearts and More Hearts!

Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is this photo:

I used the Country Woods Designer Paper to depict the wooden bowl and then created my own striped hearts and I’ll show you how!

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Hearts Of Elegance
- Inks: Moody Mauve, Early Espresso
- Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Moody Mauve
- Designer Paper: Country Woods
- Tools & Accessories: Hearts Of Elegance Dies, Adhesive-Backed Hearts Sequins, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Country Woods Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Set aside.
- Cardstock Strips: Follow these steps:
- Cut (11) Moody Mauve Cardstock strips 4 x 1/4
- Cut (1) Basic White Cardstock strip 5-1/2 x 1
- Start at the bottom on the white layer and glue one Moody Mauve Cardstock strip.
- Place the white cardstock strip above the Moody Mauve Cardstock strip as a spacing guide.
- Glue the next Moody Mauve Cardstock strip above the white strip.
- Remove white strip.
- Repeat until all Moody Mauve Cardstock strips have been glued in place.


- Use the 2-3/8″ wide heart die to cut two hearts (you can even same the striped layer for another project later.
- Use the same heart die to cut (1) with Basic White Cardstock.
- Place a piece of tape over the YOU on the sentiment stamp. Ink the stamp with Moody Mauve Ink, remove the tape and stamp on the white heart:


- Glue the two striped hearts overlapping each other on the card front.
- Glue the white heart below the striped hearts with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp the sentiment on Moody Mauve Cardstock 1-3/8 x 1/2 with Early Espresso Ink. Glue about 1-1/4″ from the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Add Adhesive-Backed Hearts Sequins to the background.
