Frozen Edges Snowflakes!
Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is this photo and there are so many things to consider when using the inspiration elements:
You could use the following for your card:
- Trees
- Snowflakes
- Presents
- Blues, White & Greens Colors
- Winter
- Christmas
And this is the card I created:
I chose to add embossed snowflakes and diecut snowflakes:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Frozen Edges, Shepherds Care
- Inks: Misty Moonlight
- Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Peach Pie, Balmy Blue, Basic White
- Tools & Accessories: Frozen Edges Dies, Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder, Faux Glass Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Misty Moonlight Cardstock 11 x 4-1/4. Score and fold at 5-1/2.
- Layer 2: Peach Pie Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Balmy Blue Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Emboss with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder. Glue to card base.
- Layer 4: Basic White Cardstock 3-3/4 x 1/2. Stamp the sentiment with Misty Moonlight Ink. Glue to the center of the card front.
- Layer 5: Cut (4) squares 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 using Misty Moonlight Cardstock. Glue above and below the sentiment, 2 in each row with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Snowflakes: Use the 3 snowflake dies to cut (4) snowflakes with Basic White Cardstock. Glue to each square.
- Bling: Add Faux Glass Dots to the center of each snowflake.
