Simply Zinnias & So Swirly!
Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a beautiful photo with pretty colors:
I used the flower theme and the color combination from the photo with Lemon Lolly, Boho Blue and Garden Green as my colors:
I used the Simply Zinnias stamp set and dies for the beautiful flowers. Did you notice the embossing on my Boho Blue Cardstock layer? The So Swirly Embossing Folder worked it’s magic and it looks striking against the other layers.
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Simply Zinnias
- Inks: Garden Green
- Cardstock: Lemon Lolly, Boho Blue, Garden Green, Basic White
- Tools & Accessories: Simply Zinnias Dies, So Swirly Embossing Folder, Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dtos, Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Lemon Lolly Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Garden Green Cardstock 5-1/4 x 4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Boho Blue Cardstock 4-1/2 x 3-1/4. Emboss with the So Swirly Embossing Folder and glue to card front at an angle.
- Flowers: Follow these steps:
- Basic White Cardstock: Cut (4) flowers
- Lemon Lolly Cardstock: Cut (2) flower centers
- Garden Green Cardstock: Cut (3) leaves
- Glue two white flowers together with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Glue the centers to each flower and color with Wink Of Stella
- Glue flowers to card front and tuck the leaves under the flowers
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Lemon Lolly Cardstock 4 x 1/2″ with Garden Green Ink. Cut both ends with Paper Snips into a bannger shape. Glue to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
