The Snapdragons Are So Pretty!
Welcome to our Create With Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is this beautiful photo of snapdragons:
In our new Mini Catalog that debuted last month, we have a snapdragon bundle called Inspiring Snapdragons. The bundle includes the stamp set and dies and look what I did with it:
I loved adding the adorable dragonflies in the mix as well. I think the two that I added really finished off my card for today:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Inspiring Snapdragons
- Inks: Mossy Meadow, Pretty In Pink, Lemon Lolly
- Cardstock: Mossy Meadow, Pretty In Pink, Lemon Lolly, Basic White
- Tools & Accessories: Inspiring Snapdragons Dies, Iridescent Foil Gems, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Lemon Lolly Cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score and fold at 4-1/4.
- Layer 2: Pretty In Pink Cardstock 5 x 3-3/4. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Mossy Meadow Cardstock 4-3/4 x 3-1/2. Set aside.
- Snapdragons: Stamp a bunch of assorted snapdragons using all three images in Pretty In Pink and Lemon Lolly Inks. Cut with the dies. Start layering on the Mossy Meadow Cardstock layer by adding some flat and then adding more with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Trim to fit on the edges. Glue cardstock layer to card front.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment with Mossy Meadow Ink on Pretty In Pink Cardstock 2-1/8 x 5/8/ Glue to card front.
- Dragonflies: Stamp (2) dragonflies on Basic White Cardstock with Mossy Meadow Ink. Cut with the die. Glue to card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add Iridescent Foil Gems to the background.
