Color Challenge This Week!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Stamping Friends . We are all using the three colors on our projects this week and this is the card I created:
This card could be considered Clean & Simple. I didn’t want to cover up the pretty woodgrain designer paper too much, so opted for some smaller layers. I used the Attention Shoppers Bundle and Meandering Meadows Designer Paper:
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Attention Shoppers
- Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Basic White, Lost Lagoon, Lemon Lolly
- Designer Paper: Meandering Meadows
- Inks: Pecan Pie
- Stampin’ Blends: Pecan Pie, Lemon Lolly, Lost Lagoon
- Tools & Accessories: Perennial Postage Dies, Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White Cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
- Layer 2: Meandering Meadows Designer Paper 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Glue to card base.
- Layer 3: Perennial Postage Dies 2-3/4″ x 2″ with Lost Lagoon Cardstock. Glue to card front about 1″ from the top.
- Layer 4: Perennial Postage Dies 2-3/8″ x 1-1/2″. Glue to Lost Lagoon layer.
- Stamped Images: Stamp all three images on Basic White Cardstock with Pecan Pie Ink. Color with the Stampin’ Blends Markers. Cut with the dies. Glue to Lemon Lolly layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock with Pecan Pie Ink. Hand-cut close to the letting with Paper Snips. Glue to card front.
- Bling: Add Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots to the background.
