Pretty Colors For Our Challenge This Week!
It’s Thursday Challenge time at Create With Connie & Mary . This week is all about the three colors you see above. I love how Crushed Curry and Coastal Cabana look when paired together with white:
The Inspirational Sketches stamp set has some pretty images you can use on a projects. I used three stamps on my card for today. The mushrooms that I fussy-cut, the background image and the sentiment.
I also added some beautiful dragonflies from our Adhesive-backed Dragonflies & Birds. It was easy to just peel and stick them in place!
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
- Stamps: Inspirational Sketches
- Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Coastal Cabana, Basic WhiteDesigner Paper:
- Inks: Crushed Curry, Coastal Cabana
- Tools & Accessories: Basics 3D Embossing Folders, Bakers Twine Essentials Pack, Adhesive-backed Dragonflies & Birds, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Snips
Card Recipe:
- Card Base: Coastal Cabana Cardstock 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score and fold at 5-1/2″.
- Layer 2: Crushed Curry Cardstock 5″ x 3-3/4″. Emboss with the Basics 3D Embossing Folder and glue to card front.
- Layer 3: Basic White Cardstock 4-1/4″ x 3″. Stamp the background image repeatedly using Coastal Cabana Ink. Set aside.
- Sentiment: Stamp the sentiment with Coastal Cabana Ink on Coastal Cardstock 3″ x 3/4″. Glue about 1/2″ from the bottom on the white layer.
- Twine: Wrap the white twine above the sentiment three times and tie into a bow on the left. Glue white layer to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Mushrooms: Stamp the mushrooms image on Crushed Curry Cardstock with Crushed Curry Ink. Hand-cut with Paper Snips. Glue to white layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Bling: Add dragonflies to the white layer, mushrooms and sentiment layer.
